WE ARE ON HOLIDAY! (¡ESTAMOS DE VACACIONES!)

We have just finished the school. And this year we have learnt a lot of English! We are on holiday!

Hemos terminado el colegio y este año hemos aprendido mucho inglés. ¡Estamos de vacaciones!

THE 5 SENSES/ LOS 5 SENTIDOS

In June we have been working on the 5 senses. We have used different techniques in order to put into practice our senses and so as to learn the names of them in English. Here there are some pictures and some songs that we have used. We have had a lot of fun!

En junio hemos estado trabajando los 5 sentidos. Hemos utilizado diferentes actividades para poner en práctica nuestros sentidos, así como aprender sus nombres en inglés. Aquí hay algunas imágenes y algunas canciones que hemos usado en clase. ¡Lo hemos pasado genial!

BYE BYE KAYLAH!

On the 31st of May we had to say goodbye to our English Language Assistant, Kaylah. She has to come back to Canada. It has been an amazing year with her. Thanks to Kaylah we have enjoyed English, we have learnt about her culture and customs and she has prepared a lot of things for us. Thank you Kaylah! We will miss you Kaylah!

El 31 de mayo tuvimos que despedir a nuestra auxiliar de conversación, Kaylah, ya que tiene que volver a Canadá. Ha sido un año increíble con ella. Gracias a Kaylah hemos disfrutado de inglés, hemos aprendido sobre su cultura y costumbres y ella ha preparado muchas cosas para nosotros. ¡Gracias Kaylah! ¡Te echaremos de menos!

VIDEOCONFERENCE/VIDEOCONFERENCIA

On the 27th of May we had a videoconference with the 5 year students from CEIP Virgen de la Vega (Cobatillas). It was a great experience for the pupils since they had the opportunity to use the English language to communicate with other children. It was a great and children did it perfect!

El 27 de mayo hicimos una conferencia con los alumnos de 5 años del CEIP Virgen de la Vega (Cobatillas). Fue una gran experiencia para los niños porque tuvieron la oportunidad de usar la lengua inglesa para comunicarse con otro niños. ¡Fue genial y los niños lo hicieron perfecto!

Welcome to the five years class bilingual blog!

This year, the five years old children at the Tierno Galván are receiving five lessons a week in English, as a part of a bilingual program. Therefore, we have created this blog to show the parents what we do in the bilingual lessons and, at the same time, give them some resources to practice with their children. In this blog we are going to upload the songs, videos, online games... we used in the classroom so that parents can show them to their children at home and they can continue practising and learning English. 

¡Bienvenidos al blog bilingüe de la clase de 5 años! 

Este año, los niños de cinco años del colegio Tierno Galván están recibiendo cinco horas de inglés a la semana como parte del programa bilingüe. Por lo tanto, hemos creado este blog para poder mostrar a los padres lo que hacemos en las sesiones de bilingüe y así, proporcionarles algunos recursos para que puedan practicar el inglés con sus hijos. En este blog vamos a publicar las canciones, vídeos, juegos en línea... que usemos en el aula para que los padres puedan mostrárselos a sus hijos en casa y que, así, los niños puedan continuar practicando y aprendiendo inglés.
