WE ARE GOING TO THE MARKET (VISITA AL MERCADO)

Last week we went to the market! We had a lot of fun!

We had to buy different autumn fruits that we had already learnt at school, and the most important thing, we had to buy those fruits in English. We did it great! 

We had to say: - Good morning! Can I have apples, please?

                         - Thank you!

It was a good day!

La semana pasada fuimos al mercado. ¡Lo pasamos genial!

Tuvimos que comprar diferentes frutos del otoño que previamente habíamos trabajado en clase y, lo más importante, tuvimos que comprar esos frutos en inglés. ¡Lo hicimos muy bien!

Teníamos que decir: - Buenos días, ¿me puede dar manzanas, por favor?

                                  - Gracias.

¡Fue un buen día!

MURAL DEL OTOÑO

During some weeks, we have been working on the autumn. We have learnt about the characteristics of this season and we have also sung some songs and learnt a poem too. So, we have decided to creat a mural to put everything we have learnt and this is the result:

Durante algunas semanas, hemos estado trabajando el otoño. Hemos aprendido sus características y hemos cantado algunas canciones y aprendido algunos poemas de esta época. Por lo tanto, hemos decidido hacer un mural para poner todo lo que hemos aprendido y éste es el resultado:

AUTUMN

As we are in autumn, we have started working the features of autumn season and what types of fruits  and dried fruits we eat in this season.

Como estamos en otoño, hemos empezado a trabajar las características de esta estación y qué tipo de frutas y frutos secos comemos durante la misma.

First we have learnt that in autumn the leaves change their coulour (orange, yellow, red and brown) and when it's windy all the leaves fall down.

Primero hemos aprendido que en otoño la hojas cambian de color (naranja, amarillo, rojo y marrón)

y cuando hace viento las hojas se caen.

We read a book about the autumn. It is called: Autumn Leaves.

Hemos leído un libro sobre el otoño. Se llama: Autumn Leaves (Hojas de otoño).

We have also listened to a song about the leaves.

Hemos escuchado esta canción sobre las hojas.

We are learning this poem too.

Estamos aprendiendo este poema también.

Yellow and brown

The leaves are falling 

Over the ground

This are the fruits and dried fruits that we are learning:

Now, we are learning how to ask for them in a supermarket. We say this:

Kid 1: Can I have a (pear), please? 

Kid 2:Yes, here you are. 

Kid 1: Thank you.

Ahora, estamos aprendiendo cómo pedir estas frutas en el supermercado. Decimos lo siguiente:

Niño 1: ¿Me puedes dar una (pera) por favor?

Niño 2: Sí, aquí tienes.

Niño 1: Gracias.
