ANIMALS

Now, we are learning about animals, so that is why we went to the farm. We are learning about where the animals live and what they eat. Below are shown some videos that are used in the classroom and some pictures about how we work this topic in the classroom.

Ahora estamos aprendiendo sobre los animales, por ello fuimos la semana pasada a visitar la granja. Estamos aprendiendo dónde viven diferentes animales y qué comen ello. ON THE FARM (EN LA GRANJA)

Last Tuesday we were on the farm. There, we saw different animals such as hens, chickens, goats, sheep, horses... We also had the opportunity to see how a mother goat feed its baby, it was great and children liked this a lot!! We also see different plants and trees. It was a great day and we learnt a lot! Thank you to Raquel's parents who showed everything to us. Here are some pictures of that day:

El pasado martes fuimos a la granja. Allí, vimos diferentes animales como gallinas, pollos, cabras, ovejas, caballos... Nosotros también tuvimos la oportunidad de ver cómo una mamá cabra alimentaba a su bebé, esto les encantó a los niños. Asimismo, pudimos ver diferentes tipos de plantas y árboles. ¡Fue un gran día y aprendimos muchísimo! Gracias a los padres de Raquel quienes nos enseñaron todo muy amablemente. EASTER (PASCUA)

We have celebrated Easter at school. We have decorated Easter eggs and we have done an Easter hunt. Kaylah, our language assistant, has told them a story and she has given some Easter eggs stickers. Children have had a lot of fun!! Here are some pictures of that day.

Hemos celebrado la Pascua en el colegio. Hemos decorado huevos de Pascua y hemos hecho una búsqueda del huevo. Kaylah, nuestra auxiliar de conversación, ha contado una historia a los niños y les ha dado algunas pegatinas de huevos de Pascua ¡Los niños lo han pasado genial! SPRING (PRIMAVERA)

We are in spring, so we are learning a new song about this season. 

Estamos en primavera por lo que estamos aprendiendo una nueva canción sobre esta estación. 

In spring the flowers bloom, there are lots of birds and bees. Sometime it rains but other it is sunny and it is not so cold as it was in winter. 

En primavera las flores florecen, hay muchos pájaros y abejas. Algunas veces llueve pero otras veces hace sol y no hace tanto frío como en invierno. 

SPHERE (ESFERA)

This term we have learnt a new shape: the sphere. We have listened to different songs to learn about it.
